Jacques started his passion for technology at an early age.  His Dad bought his first Pentium 4 computer for him when he was just 7 years old.  Of course, the first thing was to change the fans to RGB lighting.

He briefly studied architecture at Pretoria Technikon.  Jacques moved on to become a logistic controller while studying civil engineering part time.  Finally, he began to pursue his passion for technology.

Jacques studied part time at internally recognized Boston City Campus & Business College in Newcastle where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree.  Certifications of CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+ and CompTIA S+ were awarded as well.

​

He moved to Pretoria and Johannesburg to pursue his dream job.  Never one to shy away from a challenge and to take on risk.  “Without risk there can be no growth”, says Jacques.  joining the ITConnexx team in March 2021 was the reward.

Jacques is a Systems Engineer with eight years of experience having worked with several enterprise level technology companies boosting his career and providing valuable experience at a young age.

Anyone who has ever worked with Jacques, or even taken a phone call with him, knows he is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his cheerful outlook and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed.

Jacques is inspired daily by his resolute diligent wife, daughter and recently born son.  In his free time, he likes to hike, stay active, spend time in nature, and play video games with his friends.  His career goal and biggest dream is to run his own business and mentor young technology entrepreneurs.
